Fishing with SAFIRA provides you the good opportunity to catch many species of fish with some of the most popular being : Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Baracuda, Mackerel Tuna, Bonito, Rainbow Runner, Queenfish, Kingfish, Grouper and Snapper.

Each trip will be determined by the present activity of the fish species and the weather conditions.​

Inshore Fishing - Half Day
This trip will take place between the Marina, the Daymaniyat Islands located 16 nm North West of Al Mouj and Al Fahal Island located 13 nm Est.
It will be dedicated to fish around structures such as "jebel" and rocky shore of the Islands. Jigging on the bottom, casting plugs to school of bait or floating object and even "chasing" birds following predators frenzies may occur.

Offshore Fishing - Full Day
This trip will lead you beyond the Islands with a minimum of 1h of navigation. Following the birds and sometimes dolphins, this trip is meant to be "hunting" for the emblematic Yellowfin Tuna. As we find the school of fish, we will be casting plugs and jigs to the boiling water with the heavier equipment. If there is low activity on the surface, we may be jigging under the boat or trolling and live baiting.
Fish may be really big and it is necessary to be in good shape for fight over 60 min.

Basics 101- 2 hours
This one is aim to help you with the basics of fishing. You want to learn more about fishing gear options ? Knots to connect main line to leader ? How to animate properly one specific lure in order to use properly your own gear ? Getting to know the casting technics ? This 2 hours trip on the boat close to the Marina will be a good opportunity for you to practice on this specific subjects you choose and give you autonomy for your next own fishing trip !
